USorry this is going to be a long post.
I am a Freelance 3D Artist, 2 months back I was hired by an agency to work for a product animation video for a well known fitness tech brand. Later on the Agency wanted to make a monthly retainer contract for a different category of work. 50% payment for this project was made and I started working on it, timeline was 4 days. I delivered, but then the main client had a lot of changes, and it took more than a month to complete. In the midst of this the agency asked me to hop on two other projects, The deadline was 48 hours, no brief, just a few references to start the projects.
Those were the most horrible 48hours I have ever worked on a project, didn’t get any sleep , the main client was constantly on text and call to take updates, sharing references and the cycle continued. These were three product launches, out of which one one was successfully launched and the other two supposedly shelved.
I completed two projects, one didn’t see the edit table but my end of work was done.
Now the agency is refusing to Pay, ignoring my calls and messages and there’s no clarity.
I haven’t signed any contract or NDAs, because of how the situation was back then, everything was rushed.
I want to ask will there be any legal repercussions if I decide to publish those projects on my Socials and LinkedIn and call out the Agency? For not paying and ignoring my calls and texts? And also mention the brand?
