Clarification on minor to major bank account updation?

I have turned 18 years 6 months back. Went to my regional SBI branch where I have minor bank account. Told them I want to change the minor account to major account and I have turned 18 years. They told me fill up a form and I did it. Then they did not told anything or responded. I deliberately asked them that I have to do anything to make the account into a major like have to KYC, fill up a form, send an official mail to the branch. They answered me you work completed go home. I asked another time for shurity, then they winced and told me work completed go home. Completed 6 months still no msg and mail as conversion as major account and when I checked the account still it is minor account. What should I do they don’t respond to the customer queries
