UI was about to join GE healthcare as an CT SCAN engineer on 15th March 2026.I served my notice period and resigned from my previous FIRM but GE revoked my joining letter just two hours before my joining saying that your relative( my sisters husband) is in the same business and this will be a big conflict of interest between you and in the company they havent paid any compensation or any sort of thing yet what should I do coz im unemployed because of their mistake.

Revoking offer just before joining after you resigned can be challenged legally. If they knew these facts earlier, cancelling at last moment looks unfair.
Send a legal notice asking for compensation for financial loss. Keep offer letter, emails, resignation proof, and call records safely. You can also approach labour authorities or civil court if needed. feel free to message me if you need help

If the offer/joining letter had already been issued and accepted, and you resigned from your previous employment relying upon that assurance, the company revoking it 2 hours before joining may amount to arbitrary and unfair conduct. This is specially if the alleged “conflict of interest” was based on facts they could have verified during the hiring process. A relative working in a similar industry does not automatically disqualify a candidate unless there was a specific disclosure requirement or contractual restriction communicated beforehand.
A legal notice seeking compensation for losses caused due to sudden withdrawal of employment after inducing you to resign may be explored.
