May 7, 2025 at 3:47 pmWe have purchased the flat for 3 yrs in a building. There are 4 garbage bins which are placed towards the backside right below the balcony of my bedroom. We have not had any problems as such but since the last 6 motths the place has been stinking alot and we have seen a sharp increase in mosquitoes. We amicably talked to the secretary and get the bins to be shifted to a different place but he threw a statement on us saying its there since the building has been built and we wont do anything. So we wrote a formal letter to the managing committe of the building. We asked them to either give a permanent solution or shift the bins. We have written that if they dont give us a solution we will move the matter to higher authorities. Please help me as to what i can do becuase i am sure they will say they wont change the place of the bins and their solution is going to be maintaining basic cleanliness (the managing committee never listens to the problems of other members).
Which authorities can i complain to?
1. BMC (we live in mumbai)
2. Police.
3. Registrar of societies.Thank you in advance for all your help….
