April 23, 2025 at 11:09 amHey everyone,
I’m going through a really frustrating situation and could use some advice. There’s this bike denting and painting shop literally next to my house. It’s not in a commercial area it’s a proper residential colony with families, kids, students yet this guy runs his full-blown workshop here like it’s some industrial zone.
He starts work early in the morning and goes on till late at night sometimes even past 12AM. The noise is unbearable. Constant hammering, banging, grinding it’s like living next to a construction site every day. The “thak thak” & “pit pit” never stops, and it’s messing with my sleep and studies badly.
He also paints bikes in the open, and the paint smell is so strong and toxic that breathing becomes genuinely difficult. It’s not just annoying it’s straight-up harmful.
On top of everything, he parks all the bikes that come for repair right on the road, including directly in front of my main door. It blocks my pathway almost halfway. It’s so disrespectful I literally have to squeeze through bikes and navigate like I’m in a garage, just to enter or leave my own house.
A few months ago, one of the ladies in our area tried to record their open painting to raise a complaint. The shop owner, his elder brother (who owns another similar shop), and their younger brother ganged up on her and even beat her and her brother who tried to defend her. They called 112, but nothing happened. Local politics clearly played a role, and no real action was taken. That woman is now selling her house and moving out.
Meanwhile, the shop continues operating like nothing happened. Police have warned them, but they still work after 10PM here’s it https://imgur.com/a/X7si5Yo
completely ignoring everyone. Other neighbors are scared and don’t want to get involved. I feel totally alone in this it’s affecting my mental peace, sleep, and my study routine. If anyone has been through something similar, please help. What should I do? I’m really tired now.

April 23, 2025 at 2:15 pmWhere you from? Coz where I come if such things happen I will complain to Panchayath>Taluk Panchayath > DC
Coz people get license to setup shop from Panchayath in my area. So giving such thing in residential area is not viable so-
