19M with Essential Tremor – Can I get disability benefits/reservation?

I’m 19M and have **Essential Tremor**. It affects my hands badly — in stressful situations, I struggle to hold a pen or phone, and it impacts my writing and daily tasks. I’m currently in college and my professorsaid u should get check if this condition can qualify for a **disability certificate** under the **RPwD Act**. or just any benifits from goverment like fee concessions or medical assistance reservation i have heard it might fall under locomotive disability does it ? please help me out here 🙂

Well that depends on the medical body who asses this.

Locomotor disability typically includes conditions like cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and leprosy-cured persons but ET’s impact on hand function may overlap with neurological disability classification.
