  Your mutual friend, do you live in the same city?
  
  things you can do, you can check his socials to know anything related to his address.
  You can use some IP loggers which can capture his IP address, not perfect but helped.
  Go to bank and request to know his bank IFSC code or address, from his bank maybe maybe you can get his address.

  I’m in the same situation 53k , I know the address, his father’s/home address still I don’t want my hands to get dirty.Its been 1.5 year and few days back I informed his father and he said “I want to live my life I’m frustrated.”
  Will wait for a year and then I’ll file a complaint or go with legal route as I read that one must complain within max 3 years

  First file a cyber complaint it’s easy. Just call 1930
  Then try everything else later
