99 acres scam in hyderabad flat rent listing

I am 27M I had given a substantial token amount in increasing amounts to a person pretending to be a society manager of the society on 8th Feb. He shared his PAN Card details and whatsapp live location which gave the correct address of the flat. He said this money was required to create security pass for society. Once I realised my mistake within the next hour I complained in the cyber security cell in nagpur and and I gave the officer all the transaction details . I also instructed SBI for stating this transaction was mistake . and to Kotak I had complained that the UPI id was incorrect and I want reversal of the transaction. What more steps can I take .. or is all hope lost? Also I got a message from cyber crime branch that almost half of the amount I had sent has now been put on hold. what does this mean?

Have done this and received a acknowledgment number on cybercrime government portal

It’s not 99 acyres issue, they have been mentioning clearly on the app to never pay any society charges or visit charges or gate pass charges to view the property
