Indian Succession Act 1925 applies to: Christians, Parsis, and Jews communities, addresses Willed and Intestate inheritance).
Hindu Succession Act 1956 applies to: Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Sikhs communities, and addresses Intestate inheritance).
