FMy cousin had some outstanding credit card dues and when she requested that notices be sent formally, the agents responded in a highly inappropriate and abusive manner. They used obscene language, made vulgar suggestions—telling her to repay by “sleeping with men”—and insulted both her and our families by using deeply offensive slurs, calling us names like “whore.”
When my father warned them that we would report the matter to the police, one of the agents called back within 10 minutes and mocked us by asking, “Did you inform the police, Mother?” (referring disrespectfully to my father).
We have their contact numbers: **9647863928**, **7358691248**, and have retained call recordings as evidence.
We had already reached a settlement and made payment, yet this behavior is beyond unacceptable. We want to ensure these individuals are held accountable and that no other family experiences such trauma.
Please guide us on how to proceed further. If someone can provide contact details for ICICI’s senior management, such as the CEO or chairman email, we will share recordings to them. We are prepared to escalate this matter to consumer forums, banking mangement

RThere is a problem in this system! Since the collection agents are not part of the bank and they are outsourced to some third class collection agencies for a percentage of collection fee. And these agencies are so cheap that they will hire 3rd class gundas for that job! Even if you go legal they would just randomly dismiss that we don’t know which agency reached you out! Since it goes under the bid. Next time just reach out to Nodel officer to remove your number and the case is closed under settlement. Just go to bank and ask them to revoke your collection case! That’s the max you can do and sorry about the traumatised incident you faced!

FThey thought everyone was illiterate, i will find all icici top management emails , will share recordings and ask them how they react and provide justice if some random person asks their daughter, mother or sister as whore , they don’t have any fear with police system also

IRecovery agents’ interactions are strictly governed by RBI guidelines, especially when the defaulter is female.
TPAs are not permitted to shout or use unprofessional language, let alone abusive or suggestive language. If they do, both the bank and at least the agency employing them can be held responsible.
To circumvent this, agents are often encouraged not to reveal their employing agency and instead say they are acting “on behalf of XYZ bank.” This creates a connection just strong enough to attempt recovery, but not clear enough for action to be easily taken against them.Defaulters are within their rights to refuse any such contact if the agent does not provide proper identification or a valid DRA number.
I would advise you to email the bank’s grievance officer/nodal officer, and also include the RBI Banking Ombudsman in your attempts.
You can also file FIRs against the offending agents.-
SI have some cc debts too, indusind bank collection team calls me 100+ times in a day.
