February 3, 2025 at 5:04 amHello! I really need some advice regarding Carrer options in law. I’ve been a lawyer for 3 years and I’m really struggling to make a stable income. At the moment I’m working under a senior but I hardly get paid and even if I do it’s once in 3-4 months and that too not above 2-4k if lucky. I wish to join a startup or law firm but they are none available in my city and I can’t move cities unless can be done remotely. Or become a Departmental lawyer for a bank or any other but I heard you need 5-6 year experience and connections.
I’m always keen to learn and grow and if you have any suggestions for a first generation lawyer to kickstart their carrer please let me know.

February 3, 2025 at 9:54 amHave you given CLAT for LLM? If you get good scores, many governmental orgs like BHEL can recruit you and they give a pretty decent package too I think.-

OP
February 3, 2025 at 10:20 amI haven’t. My circumstances have been such that law was not my first priority but due to certain events i had to get into it. So I don’t even have a 5 year degree. I have a 3 year degree. But with time I have started to grow into it and do wish to make it work. Do i still stand any chance anywhere?
