April 29, 2025 at 2:02 pmI had ordered a pair of Sony 1000xm4 headphones and received a fake product instead( different from what I had ordered). I was skeptical seeing the packaging of the product, so I made videos of the unboxing , the box had a duplicate headphone, which was not getting connected to the Sony official app( which the original ones do), the original headphones have 1000-xm4 written on the headband but it was not written in this case, Also no AUX wire was inside which is present inside the original box( but some cheap white cable was present). The product was picked by the Pickup guy sent from Amazon’s side after thorough examination. But the Customer care services have denied my refund stating that the product I returned was different from what I had ordered( I never received the product that I had ordered in the first place and that was the sole reason for me returning the product). I have all the video proofs and photos that back my claim. Also the seller has multiple such reviews of delivering fake products which I had not seen earlier.I have sent multiple mails, upon which they conducted some investigation and reached the same conclusion.
Need suggestions badly on how to proceed further.

April 29, 2025 at 2:09 pmYour earlier refund history and claims will play a role. If you hadn’t raised many refund requests earlier, they will do it after some time. I never faced any issues with refunds.-

April 29, 2025 at 5:28 pmI used to say the same, but they gave me a taste of their medicine.I don’t return items frequently, as I only order what I want after doing thorough research. They initially denied a refund for a wrong item, but after I escalated the issue, they refunded me.
A month later, I ordered the same item again, thinking they’d send the wrong one again. This time, they denied the refund again, claiming they sent the correct size and even issued a warning for account closure. They didn’t consider the unboxing video I had, and even the outer packaging had the wrong size listed.
I escalated the issue to the seller, and after multiple emails and a few weeks, they finally replied that Amazon had received the item with manipulated labels. Finally, I received an email from these fuckers (Amazon) saying their investigation was complete and that a pickup had been initiated.

I paid using Amazon ICICI card when i called customer care they said its not possible to charge back since i have received the product even though the product is wrong.What can be done now? I place order on 19th April.

April 30, 2025 at 9:03 amProduct reviews were fine, I never used to check seller reviews earlier, after receiving the fake product, I dove deeper into reading the seller reviews and found that there have been other such incidents.
