April 12, 2026 at 7:10 pmI’m honestly at my limit and need advice. My bank account has been frozen for the last 12 days without any proper explanation. The worst part? This isn’t even personal money.
I’m a student at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, and this account is used only to manage mess funds. Around 40–50 students contribute to it for daily meals. Because of this freeze, all that money is now blocked.
This has completely disrupted our mess operations. We’re literally struggling with food arrangements because of this. This isn’t just an inconvenience it’s affecting basic necessities.
I’ve already contacted the bank multiple times, but there’s been zero resolution. No clear reason, no timeline, nothing.
I have full proof of all transactions and can show that everything is legitimate and transparent. Still, they’re just sitting on it.
Has anyone faced something similar?
What’s the fastest way to get an account unfrozen in India?
Any help or guidance would really be appreciated.

April 12, 2026 at 7:14 pmRequest account closure and get the money out if it’s urgent. Trying to get it unfrozen will take so much time. NAL. -

April 12, 2026 at 7:30 pmLawyer here. As a rule of thumb, faster the relief sought, bigger the cost. If you do not want to put in the funds, you got to file a representation before the appropriate police department with all the proofs and other docs and wait. It may resolve in a months time.-
