April 28, 2025 at 4:50 pmI had booked a flat in 2019 and till date struggling to get a right answer from the builder on when he will start the development of my building.Backstory : the project is of 6 wing [A-F] of which 4 [C-F] wings are developed and delivered with OC. I had booked in wing B and only the plinth is constructed along with the other wings.
During covid the work stopped and never resumed, I think it went under litigation but the builder says some Environmental certificate is not getting approved from some MOEF Council which sits only once in 6 months and it was decommissioned to be shifted from Delhi to Mumbai their main brach or something.
I have paid till the plinth level and now think getting just the money given to builder is massive loss as my 6 year worth of money will be all wasted, could have earned Soo much in MF or even basic FD.
RERA is useless as the builder straight away LAUGHED at me when I tried to threaten him about it, the builder has not made any updates to the MAHA RERA site and I think RERA is really worthless.
My last option is to lawyer up to get him to pay me COMPENSATION for my wait and get the project completed.
What are my options? I’m seriously frustrated ๐ค

April 28, 2025 at 5:09 pmFile a complaint with RERA. Once RERA passes the ruling you’ll have to go through court to enforce the ruling.-

April 28, 2025 at 5:41 pmA lawyer will speed things up. Consult a lawyer and discuss their plan of action. If it sounds right, you can proceed.-
