Can employer demand 1 month salary if I could resign within 6 months in the probation period because of toxic work cuture?

I joined a small IT company in Bangalore in October 2024 . Because of toxic and abusive work culture I quit the company in my probation period. I properly served notice period. Now the company demands 1 month salary in order to process the final settlement and also threatening legal action.
Please help.

Not unless explicitly mentioned in the offer letter/contract.

Not a Lawyer but folks here once said if a company sues an employee nothing happens and also always an employee wins unless he did a grave mistake..
