Can I file an RTI with Central Vigilance seeking investigation details?

Hello

Can I file an RTI with CVC and seek investigation details, including official names, of a certain govt department in a particular state during a time period e.g. 2019-2022?

If yes, what are the things I should keep in mind?

You can ask whether an investigation was done but you won’t get details.

You can file an RTI with the CVC, but investigation details may be exempt under Section 8(1)(h) of the RTI Act if disclosure affects ongoing inquiries.
