Can I file consumer case against Urban company for the following case:

Booked AC installation service (3k) from UrbanCompany on 22nd February 2025.

The professional left the service in between for another one. Told me he’ll be back by 8pm. He wasn’t taking my calls. On contacting Urban company they assured me that he’ll finish the work but they told him not to go that day as it was beyond his working hours. I offered him extra money and he came back for the job.

Then they lost a part due to which swing was not working. They replaced an unbranded and local part instead. Then AC cooling is not working and they gave me reason that gas is not there. After they filled gas (gave a 3k invoice), same issue. Then they told motherboard is damaged (5k invoice), then after 2 days told me outside unit’s motherboard is damaged (another 5k invoice). The total invoice is 17k. Still the issue is not resolved so I didn’t pay them a single rupee. Now they are not giving me warranty because of that and are not taking responsibility.

I called the AC company and they told as Urban Company has worked on it, product warranty will also be not applicable.

Can this be a legit case of I file one? Please I need some guidance, been frustrated since a month with them.

I have all the pics, videos, chat recordings with me.

Also, next time, just get it installed by the local AC shop it only costs 300 🙂
