April 15, 2025 at 3:03 pmI’m getting my passport done on tatkal, the appointment at PSK is on 6th of May and I have a flight to board on the 10th (I know it’s very last minute but I had to get my addhar address updated and I couldn’t apply without it).
I’m aware that I’ll get the passport first, ideally with in 3 days after PSK appointment and the police verification will take place after that.
But with the given timeline, I doubt I’ll get to do the verification.
Can I still travel abroad and get the verification done when I’m back? (I’ll be back on 20th) Or is there any other way around this?Would love to hear someone who’s been through something similar too.
Thanks!

April 15, 2025 at 4:13 pmPassport will be issued post police verification only.As you applied for tatkal, police come for verification on a priority basis.
In the meanwhile, some earlier date slots get opened, change to that slot.
