Paid 60k to fiitjee for one year program and the coaching institute got shut down within 3 months. Fiitjee has clauses which mentions no refund in any circumstances. What should I do?

Hire an advocate, Put a complaint in your district consumer forum citing all the reasons and ask for a compensation as well (to keep up with costs of the advocate)

Hello lawyer saab

In my case, I’ve also paid almost 70k but our classes are going to start from April. I don’t want to join fiitjee because of its current situation. I’ve paid 30k till now, 20k for registration and one DD of 10k. There are 3 more DDs. What should I do? Should I deny the other DDs and file a complaint?

Make a complaint before the consumer forum. Such clauses restricting legal action, even if there is a mistake on the part of the other person, are usually not entertained as a valid defense (Section 28, Contract Act). Lawyer this side u can send a legal notice to them and for proper advise the contract clauses will have to be examined
