Can we make a juvenile to pay for medical bills in attempt to murder case? Urgent help needed

Hello folks!
So, a friend of mine was attacked by some local gangsters in his city. 5 of them were arrested out of which 4 are 18+ and facing sentence. But one of them who’s the main culprit he stabbed my friend which caused a lot of hospital trouble for 6 months, his case is going now in juvenile court.Can we will get the compensation money for hospital bills from the guy who stabbed him even he’s a juvenile. Please help.

Firstly, if the minor is over 16 years of age at the time of crime, file an application to try him as an adult.

Also, the juvenile justice board has the power to order the parents / guardians of the minor to pay compensation. If JJ Board refuses to order compensation, then you will have to file a civil suit for damages.

In addition to this, you should also apply for compensation under the Victim Compensation Scheme of your state.

Oh that’s good because he was 17 at the time of this incident. Only if we could make him pay compensation bcz he’s a criminal it doesn’t matter for him to go to jail for 4-5 years but in case of compensation it will become a big burden for his family.

But since all conspired together, its like each one of them did the act of stabbing. So money will be awarded during the sentencing of the adults.

The one who is juvenile did stabbed and the other 4 threw stones and other things at him which made him unconscious
