March 15, 2025 at 4:45 pmI was involved in an accident where my car collided with a bike. Neither our car nor the bike had insurance. One of the riders suffered a broken bone, while the other had minor injuries. We’re worried about the legal consequences—what’s the maximum punishment we could face? Any advice would be appreciated. -

March 15, 2025 at 4:58 pmPunishment would be mostly punitive if they decide to file a complaint. Having contested a lot of cases from complainant side as well as the accused’s side in similar matters, my only advice would be to make sure you engage an effective lawyer for negotiations because that one decision could make up a world of difference for you.
