April 15, 2025 at 1:49 pmSo around a year back I got in to a physical altercation with someone who attacked my family member over a minor accident. Both of us sustained injuries but the other person’s nose got busted and the person started bleeding. We filed FIRs against each other and currently the charges on us are IPC 323 and 324 with IPC 323 on them. We did NOT use any weapon but still the police put 324 on us. There is no conviction yet and we are summoned by the court in the coming months. Now, I have to change my company and have an interview. Should I tell it straight in the interview regarding this case or wait till they ask me to declare? This will definitely reflect in the BGV so therefore I want to declare it prior. I don’t want to resign from my present organisation only to be rejected during the BGV process of the other organisation.

Better be criminal upfront than living in constant fear
If they accept all good for you if not anyways you would be fired later
