Charge sheet filed on vehicle message with zero Rs challan

Hi, I’m in this strange situation. I’m from Hyderabad, one of my close friend acquired a car from his cousin. Cousin moved abroad 13 years ago , my close friend also moved abroad. Car was on parking lot for over 2 years. Recently I started learning car and asked my friend if I can use the car for practice, he agreed I serviced it and when I saw if it has any challans I found 2 challans from 2020 for wrong parking, car pcitures of wrong parking are there , and one zero challan with random person photo for drunk and drive and there is no car picture along with the person pic, It is written as charge sheet filed against vehicle in apr 2024 and contact null. I don’t know how it is possible as it was in parking for about 2 years in no state to drive. Now car is in the name of the cousin who moved abroad , but it is in my possession form past 3 weeks , I spent some money to get it repaired and all . Car RC expires in 1 year by mid 2026. What should I do, should I visit police station to find solution , or leave it as is ? Thanks.

IMO you should tweet the incident to the state police on X. I don’t know how things work in HYD but if it was in UP, by now the challan would have been sent to the court. So first tweet the incident.
