EMy ex cheated on me and, after promising to marry me and meeting my mother and siblings, she was in a relationship with another person for more than a year. I filed a complaint against her at my local police station in MP. My ex raised a petition to quash the complaint, in which her Aadhaar is attached. On receiving a copy of the petition, I felt further deceived as her real age is six years older than what she had presented to me. During our travels together, she had sent me a photoshopped Aadhaar on WhatsApp for hotel check-ins and made train and bus bookings using a false age. I would not have entered the relationship had I known about the age gap. On scanning the QR code, it shows her actual date of birth, while the Aadhaar she shared with me appears to have been edited.

UBe in your home only, don’t go to court for this, they gonna rip your pockets + the girl might play a card which may falsify you to get her side safe seeing you going to court against her.
Listen to Osho, it helps to keep your mind calm and refrain you from asking legal advices.
Otherwise, it’s quite possible you gonna start hating word legal, if you be the same way as you’re now

UShe only promised, she wasn’t married to you and it’s great. You should have taken your complaint back.
And age se beware, tumne, you’re not a legitimate company to whom she would face consequences for falsifying her Adhaar Card.
You could ask the bus, train and hotel authorities if they wanted to sue her for falsifying her age on her Adhaar

Cheating is shitty. Lying about age is also shitty. But courts and police are not breakup recovery centers
Right now this reads less like “legal harm” and more like: “I got emotionally betrayed and now every lie feels criminal”
Also please understand the danger here. Once legal fights between exes escalate in India, things can become VERY ugly very fast from both sides
Talk to an actual lawyer before doing anything emotional or ego driven. Not Reddit. Not rage
