i want to close my credit card.
i was late for one payment and did the full payment.
when I call to close this card, the representative days that i need to wait for the next bill. I have verified that the
can I file a complaint with the cfpb for this?

Yes, credit cards are that way. For example, if you used your card in January and paid the bill in full. They will ask you to wait till feb month bill is generated. And if there are no transactions, they will close it.

Common practice to avoid any recurring payments or interest that should be paid.

My advise. Remove the card from your wallet, and don’t use it.
