March 16, 2025 at 4:46 amSp for that I want to hire an advocate. The current one is telling me she will file the case in civil court. I also went to labour court and the inspector there told me to get a lawyer and file case there.
Should I find another lawyer who files case om labour court or previous one is fine? -

March 16, 2025 at 5:08 amWhat was your work profile and designation when you left/resigned? If you fit within the definition of “workmen” you can go to labour court, otherwise it’s regular civil court. Do send a legal notice before you file anything.-

March 16, 2025 at 5:25 amYes you could do that but your lawyer would have to keep in mind, some mandatory compliances. Also, you should first exhaust the option of getting a meticulously drafted legal notice sent on your behalf to your ex employer. I’ve had 50% of such cases resolved just at that stage without proceeding into any further litigation. Lawyer here based in Delhi.-

March 16, 2025 at 5:30 amDid send a notice. They in return send another notice stating we had false statements in it and to take it back otherwise they will instead put a case on me.But in their letter they have accepted the amount to be given.

March 16, 2025 at 11:22 amWhy is the company not paying FnF? Have you absconded or not served the notice period? In that case they have to pay deduct the amount for losses or damages caused due to this and then pay the remaining amount to you.-
