April 3, 2025 at 5:09 amWhy is there such a craze now a days to study law? Every where there are students in black coats. Is there really a great career opportunity or everyone wants to be Rita/Yashwant? Wouldn’t only a small percent become judge? For the remaining lawyers, wouldn’t AI really make their work redundant? AI will be efficient since there are finite set of laws and the past judgements can be used to understand all of them. -

April 3, 2025 at 5:26 amWhat makes you think everyone studies law to become a judge? Most of them are very passionate about the subject and love practising law. And you really think AI can ever be a substitute for real advise? I am a lawyer and I do not even believe what I read on AI and Iβm always looking for authentic sources. There is a lot lot more to it which only those who are practising law can understand π-

April 3, 2025 at 5:38 amHave you seen law students in the public areas? They behave like rowdies now itself. And you want to believe they study because of the passion and love for law.-

April 3, 2025 at 5:40 amWell I donβt wish to comment on that as rowdies are everywhere, from social media to real life, across professions. But letβs not generalise it. We grow as we grow, except those who donβt. This conversation is pointless π Have a great day!-

April 3, 2025 at 9:53 amI am just curious to know what happened in the last few years which is increasing this interest in law. It was not like this 10 years back. Passing and love should be there all the time/years.-

April 3, 2025 at 10:02 amI feel itβs the same for almost every profession, apart from the fact that the literacy rate has also increased in general. Every other person wants to be well educated, no matter what profession they choose. So the number of students studying law or any other subject has also increased proportionately. Having said that, law is a very respectable profession so may be more people opt for it.-

April 3, 2025 at 10:17 amI dont see it across the board. Engineering was in demand in early 2000s.. Now muted. Doctors also seems to be losing interest. There seems to be an anticipation of a better growth in law.-
