March 16, 2025 at 8:45 amI was going to my office and by mistake slightly damaged a parked car’s tail light and scratches off some paint. Now the owner is constantly harrassing me and my landlord. When asked him for insurance he said I won’t use my insurance and reduce my car value and is saying the charges are going to be around 10-11k which is too much for me to bear. I asked him for paying file charges for the insurance but he isn’t budging. Help me what should I do. He keeps harrassing me and my landlord. I am scared that since he now knows my address that he does not damage my car in some big way for revenge. It was done by mistake.
The right tail light is just a bit broken from underneath.
Help me plz -

March 16, 2025 at 8:52 amTell him to repair it in the service center and send the bill to you, you can pay the bill amount of you feel the amount he is asking is too much. But the risk is the billed amount might be higher than the amount which he is asking now… So pay and forget this headache from your life..-

March 16, 2025 at 8:57 amTake him to a repair shop of your choice (so that you won’t have to worry about being charged extra) and pay the charges for the repair work.-

March 16, 2025 at 10:12 amThe decent thing to do would be to pay since you’re clearly at fault.
