Data breach – is this legal?

I added an alan truman product in my cart, and naturally went till the payment page to check the final price payable. During this process, I had to enter my mobile number and email ID, but i ended up not ordering the product from their website. this was last night at ~2 AM, I have received this SMS at 2:45 PM from their supposed employee or someone? This doesn’t feel right, is this legal?

EDIT – can’t attach the screenshot, sharing the text received

“Greetings from Alan Truman! This is regarding the Gold Ceramic Blow Brush which you have added in your cart, we have called you to check if you have any concern about the product. Also, you will get extra 5% off on the already discounted price if you place the order right now. Please call us or text us for details and discount link.”

When you entered the cell phone number and email address and accepted the terms, you included their right to communicate with you and send offers. However, since this is a very fringe case, complaining about the same does not make any sense.
