Deed of apartment vs sale deed

Purchasing a resale flat where the building is under Apartment Act and not a cooperative housing society.

Lawyer told me we need to do agreement to sale which is completed. Next the lawyer is saying we need to Deed of apartment.

Is deed of apartment and sale deed the same? I had the understanding that I’ll need to do sale deed for flat purchase but lawyer says it will be deed of apartment.
