UI purchased an Ather 450X in Nov 2023 and was entitled a subsidy of around 18K (Exact amount might be in the documents). I have not received the subsidy even after 14 months.
I tried reaching out to Delhi EV Cell, but their telephone/phone numbers do not work. Their email ids’ have their mailbox full so emails cannot reach them.
I tried reaching out to Ather and they say, that my application is with the government and government only is responsible for my money.
My parents were entitled to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Subsidy that was around 2 Lakhs, 7 years ago when they purchased our house. When we reached out to the concerned authorities back then, they replied back that government has stopped supporting this scheme and there are no funds left to disperse.
On an unrelated note, my blood boils whenever government introduces more freebies, while they couldn’t even fulfill the subsides that they promised way back.
How can I approach this legally?
