January 30, 2025 at 3:42 pmIf I take a personal loan for my spouse and that person stops paying the loan after you file for divorce but didnโt include that fact in the case thinking they would pay, is there any way forward to include the same. My advocate told since it is only a few emis i have paid it wonโt be strong in court. Any advice?
Note: I have proof that the loan was for my spouse. -

January 30, 2025 at 4:11 pmYouโd be expected to repay the loan by the bank. If not, it will definitely affect your credit history. Since the loan was for your spouseโs needs you can present it before the court and ask the judge to make your spouse pay for it. There is less chance for that to happen before proceeding with the divorce matters-
