DL digitally impounded

It was my first ever traffic violation in Gurgaon when I jumped red light. Got issued ₹5000 challan and DL digitally impounded and recommended for suspension.
This is clearly wrong that they recommended suspension for first ever traffic violation (well those corrupt officers didn’t get bribe from me, hence did this).
Anyways, what are my options to get DL unblocked?

same here. Just because you won’t bribe fucker would suspend your licence.

Exactly. One thing I have learned is- it’s always better to just bribe 10% of the fine amount instead of getting the challan. This is the sad state of affairs.

for first offense, it is not suspended. it is suspended for 3 month on 2nd repeat offense (in chandigarh atleast)

wait for one month and it will be sent to court and you may receive SMS from Virtual court to get it paid online. i got a speeding challan (repat offense) and paid it online. for 5k you may have to pay 2-3k .

For me it has been 3 months and challan hasn’t been sent to vcourt yet. I don’t care much though. Impounded doesn’t mean suspended. My DL is still active. Will wait it out to see what happens.

You have to physically go to challaning branch and product receipt.

It is digitally Impounded, I have the physical licence with me. it says digitally Impounded on mparivhaan.

Ok. Never heard of this term. Keep the receipt of the payment for future . Maybe the mparivhaan is not updated

The light had just turned yellow and there was a truck in front of me. Couldn’t see the light before entering intersection.
These cops in gurgaon have an aide in plain clothes who makes video on phone from behind. It is just a way for them to extort money.

Lmk if you get your DL cleared in mparivhaan. Mine still shows suspend even after 7-8 months, raised few grievances but all tickets are still pending.
