March 30, 2025 at 5:17 pmSo a week ago I took apple tv subscription. It gave 1 week free and then 99 per month. I only took the subscription to watch a single season of a single show. So I binged it and completed within 6 days. At around 6.5 days after taking the subscription when I went to stop the autopay, I saw apple had already deducted 99 at the 6 day mark, not 7.So my question is do I have a case against Apple if I go to consumer court?
P.S. – I know the amount is not a huge amount, but I think this is a shady practice and no small amount can justify this.

March 30, 2025 at 5:24 pmApple may not deduct per your local timings, they also recommend cancelling any trials at least a day in advance. Next time, just cancel the auto-pay request in advance from your bank. Either way, ask for a refund. Apple usually provides one without hassle. Consumer court for โน99 might not be worth it. -

March 30, 2025 at 5:25 pmApple would have warned you when it’s going to deduct through mail, your bank also would have intimidated you before executing standing instructions. If you have missed these two then maybe it’s your fault -

March 30, 2025 at 5:26 pmNo. Apple has T&C that you must cancel your subscription atleast 1-day prior otherwise it is automatically renewed. Also, do you really think Apple TV, with a big legal team would practice such a practice without a small T&C mark and tiny line of automatic renewal?
