April 25, 2025 at 11:29 amnot a lawyer , if its a one time thing for your family or relatives then no need for licence and if you’re doing it for commercial purpose then you’ll require a licence-

April 25, 2025 at 5:52 pmI have searched the internet and what I have found is I only need license for monuments which are under ASI. Lots of mandir, parks, gurudwara dont come under ASI. And also I can take tourists to markets like chandni chowk etc, why would I need license for that?

April 25, 2025 at 11:48 amIt is illegal to do so. Sort of like it is illegal to prescribed a medicine if youre not a doctor. There is regulation on pricing too – as in what cost you can charge is capped depening on monument and the govt decides that.
There is a union for Guides that will try and not let you practise if youre not a registered guide
