Drank a Coke with Insect in it at Burger King. Need Advice

So today, at Burger King, I ordered a Meal, and while drinking my Coke halfway through it, I found a Maggot (roach) inside it. I freaked out and called the manager, who offered me another drink but I stormed out of there since I was feeling Nauseated, and they didn’t even have a washroom there for me to go to. I called FSSAI to report it and they advised me to lodge an FIR and file a case against BK. But I’m clueless about what to do and what to seek in this. Please suggest what I should do next.

That’s awful! First, take clear photos/videos of the drink and the insect as proof. If you still have the receipt, keep it. You can report it to the restaurant manager, but also escalate it by filing a complaint with food safety authorities If you feel unwell, see a doctor and keep medical records. You might even be able to claim compensation if needed

Punch in the FIR, and mention them on twitter, and be specific with the location so it affects their business. they’ll be forced to change for good…
