So this drunk asshole(40 M) who is the son of president of society and this mf with his friends from society threw stones when my brother and his friend was playing decent volume music at the roof of our home while they were drinking at nearby roof. His shots were pretty close and landed nearby where my brother was sitting. My brother then threw bricks at him which was an act of retaliation. The moment my sister and I went to the roof, that asshole apologized. What can be done in such scenarios since my family avoided going to our home for a week and stayed at out relatives to avoid any confrontation.

If the neighbours can hear your music, it’s not decent volume.

              You retaliated,he apologized. Matter closed.

Special occasions or not, one can’t play music on speakers after a specific time i.e. after 10 pm.
Whether it was decent volume or not it will always remain as fact in question. You should avoid confrontations like these in future, or else solidify your side of the story with some legality.
