Even after presenting the digital copies of the documents, can a police officer still confiscate my Vechile?

  A constable confiscated my bike the other day, even after I presented him with the paperwork. When I told him that you are not traffic police and that I could not be fined more than 100, he retaliated by confiscating my bike in Delhi. What to do next need Help.

  Go file a complaint with the SP/Commissioner in your town/city. They will have public visiting hours, you don’t need an appointment

    The issue is that my bike was confiscated in front of the station, and other police officers assisted him.

      It is not jungle raj. They screwed up by confiscating a bike which is pretty hard to deny. Take a lawyer with. India is not jungle raj, you can complain against policemen too – it’s actually important you do so when they behave in a high handed fashion.

  In Delhi lawyers are always waiting for an opportunity like this. Go to any court and find one who wants to take it up.

    On Monday, I will visit the station; is it possible for me to handwrite a complaint as well, provided that the situation does not worsen? I have read online that they can not do that without suspicion; either way, it is trouble for me.
