Exparte divorce decree

Hi,

I’m getting an exparte divorce from my ex wife. The case is in final stage which is orders/judgment stage. But the judge has been postponing the dates. Initially it was 16 Jan and then27th Jan and now it’s 24th Feb 2025.

My lawyer says this is normal. But is it really normal or is the judge not ready to give me exparte divorce decree??

Need your input guys.

Yes, in case she appears, court is bound to give 3-4 opportunities.

The judge is helping you

Tge divorce can not be cancelled in higher courts as this judge has given her enough opportunities for her to represent

So be little patient

It’s normal. If you’re worried you can track your case online. Google e court services and enter the court complex and your case number in the website.
