EHello one of my friend has posted his ex wife pic with her BF in his insta account.
However, he blurred their eyes in the pic.
Now his ex is threatening that she will file a case again him.
Since he blurred their eyes in the picture will he be subjected to any legal issues.
He didn’t comment or wrote anything on the post which can relate to her ?
Advice what he can do in case his ex pursue it legally

A1) What is the nature of the picture? Does it violate any platform guidelines of Instagram? Is it vulgar in nature?
2) If it is not vulgar, then ask your friend to take down the picture and the matter ends there. Even if the ex sues him for defamation, he may not be liable since the picture is the truth and not a truncated or changed picture. Truth is the best defence against defamation. Secondly he’s blurred the picture so unless the picture was a vulgar one, he may not be in a lot of trouble.-

she is just sitting with her BF in a restaurant
She might have already taken the screen shot etc.
My question is since he blurred the image & didn’t mention any comments, even if she goes to court or police he can always deny that it’s her
second if she accepts that it’s her picture, than isn’t she accepting that she had affair and than it puts her into a -ve situation.

AUnlikely that she’ll go to the court or cops given the situation. It’s not easy to file a complaint unless there’s some vulgar content. So ask your friend not to worry.
