Extending Notice Period

Resigned from my position due to very bad office politics and upcoming deteriorating condition of project, now manager told me they’ll extend my notice period by 40 days above 90 days mentioned in my appointment letter. What can i do? Please suggest

They can’t extend beyond what your employment contract says

Idk man, and HR VP is also in with them, as he’s been in the loop of communication since first mail of resignation and he’s not saying anything about thia absurdity
