AI want to alert people regarding this company called ITZEAZY which deals in various services including RC transfer.
We had contacted ITZEAZY services to get our car RC ownership changed.
The agreed upon amount from the company was Rs.3500/- This amount included all services including home collection and delivery and the time period promised to us for completion of all work was 15-20 days.
Soon after the process began, they started charging us more amount and asked us to pay extra Rs.200/- for third party home collection.
We did not want to delay the process any longer so we agreed.
After they had collected the original car RC from us they asked us for an extra Rs.500/- to get the work done. (They said this is to create a mother file. But shouldn’t this cost already be included in the initial agreed amount?)
We did not pay them this additional amount.
We had paid Rs.1500/- as advance initially.
After they sent us a picture of the new RC we sent them the remaining Rs.2000/-
It took them around 30 days for the work to be done.
In total we paid Rs.3700/- which is Rs.200 more than the agreed amount.(Plus additional convenience fees)
Now the company is refusing to give us our new original RC unless we pay them Rs.500/-
This I believe is extortion.
This additional amount may not be much but I do not like being taken for a ride and want to fight against corrupt companies.
I would like suggestions from you all on how to go about this.
Shall I file a consumer grievance on the national consumer helpline? -

JI’m glad that atleast your work was completed and they have the new documents ready. For me, they took the car papers in 2021 and closed their Koramangala, Bangalore office(paid full). What followed later was blocking of phone calls and emails. All I needed was an NOC to re register the car in Hyderabad. From past 4 years, I’m driving the car like a thief. The car is on my sisters name and she has no intention of coming back to India (NRI). Without her filing the FIR, the RTO is not ready to give a new RC. #deadlock by ITZEAZY.
