LI need a serious advice from the entire lawyer community and from those people who have seen this situation
I understand that some of u might think that mistakes happen both ways, however in this case I am dealing with a psychopath and my lawyer has also confirmed that he is a psycho.
The flat seller is not communicating with me apparently bcz I am logical and as a woman I am not bowing down to that psycho. Hence, apart from the agreed amount he keeps on asking me more money like 1500, 1700.
Infact he tries his best intimidating me by showing off his money, by walking away from conversations and shouting at me. He expects me to call him Sir and bend down to whatever he says and say yes.
I did my best inspite of the harassment bcz I had paid a lot of money. At the end, he has involved police for mere 1700 rupees and asking me to pay the house amount. The issue is – I am ready to pay amount but he is not coming and out of station. What can I do here? He is writing emails, sending messages and making calls to different people, apart from me. All this for 1700!!! He is adding his own terms and money apart from what is agreed on sale agreement, and now he has involved police to intimidate me. And threatening me for legal action. But what can I do if he doesn’t talk or respond or come to take the remaining amount??
Is this what a female buyer goes through when buying house??
I want to know what legal action can I take as he is intimidating me, harassing me, asking for more money than agreed, involving police, threatening with legal consequences and not giving the original documents and keys of the house.
Need genuine answers!!

Curious how this was confirmed he was a “psycho”, was this a medical evaluation or pop-psychology? Anyway, even if true, why are you dealing with such a person? Will he not create more problems in the future, or not disclosing facts about the sale of the property?

LHe was confirmed to be a psycho when he has shown similar behaviour to all lawyers at registrar office, bank people. Infact, everybody dealing with him in this case trying to explain him with logic, all of them have already blocked him.
My lawyer has already advised me to file harassment case against him in afew days after keeping the proofs.
When I dealt with him, I had no idea this was his mentality or he is a psycho. When I knew I had paid 4 lakhs. So couldn’t back off and bear the loss. The worst, yesterday he told me he hates dealing with women as they should hide behind a man to get their work done
