Hello.

I had left my previous organization in Feb 2021.

I had completed all the F&F procedures through my office mail (which I don’t have access to anymore).

Once I left the company, I had received a notice for recovery of some amount (for which no breakup has been provided) in 2022.

I interacted with the person that contacted me and we discussed some of the specifics of the matter. But they didn’t follow up afterwards. Iirc it hadn’t reached a conclusion, but I had sent a mail of my exit details to them. I assumed that it was closed.

Today, I have received the same mail.

How can I protect myself against this?

You should legal assistance. I would recommend DigiLaywer. Last year, I had the same issue with a Gurugram based company. I sorted it with their help.
