Filing police complaint in Bangalore for document forgery

We let a relative to take care of the house and collect rents on our behalf, since we are living abroad. The relative(a lady) hide the actual rents and looted money for a while. She event sent a forged rental agreement signed by her and fake tenant’s signature through WhatsApp. It contains tenants aadhar number too(probably real). I got the tenant’s phone number and talked what’s happening. Now the relative is threatning that she won’t leave and take all the rents. I am planning to visit India for two weeks and what is the quickest option available? Can I file police case citing document forgery since rental fraud will be considered civil case?

How much you pay her for managing the property?

I am not paying to manage, but instead gave one house for her to stay rent free. Tenant is not staying with my knowledge, only the rent they pay is not transparent.

You need to come down and fix this…process followed currently is not legal
