Filled wrong Police Station in my attestation form for Government job. Nervous and stressed about future.

Due to confusion in jurisdiction of police station limits in my city I mistakenly filled wrong Police station in my attestation form which is a very important document. Any advise what to do as I am stressed about losing a hard earned govt job due to a silly mistake.

I can’t mention details but job is of the nature where apart from local police other agencies like IB will also be involved in police verification so I am nervous.

Just go to the police station u mentioned and enquire whether the verification form has reached there.inform them that u fall under different thana jurisdiction. They will forward it there.. alternatively u can also inform ut department about this issue and they will send the verification form to that thana only

yes I am gonna go to police station. Don’t know how to respond department and if they will even respond. I am just nervous as there were multiple forms(same thing filled multiple times) and other authorities will be involved so don’t know how to contact them

U don’t need to contact every agency. Only contact the appointing agency because they send the verification form to different authorities. Don’t worry ur job is not going anywhere.
