FIR Closure report required for passport application

I require the certified copy of closure report of an FIR which was filled against me for my passport application. Police said that they have submitted the Same in high court but they are not willing to give it me or to my lawyer. Can any lawyer guide here on how to go about the process.
The police have filled a closure report basically quashing the FIR

file an RTI seeking the reason why they can not give and ask them to share.

Alternatively you can also approach the SP of the area and find out the reason.

RTI is for asking information or asking for documents? Do they provide FIR copy also in RTI ?

Lawyer here.

Essentially, this would have only required your Lawyer to liaison with the Police to get a Copy of the Closure Report. If that has failed, if you are a Party in the Matter in the High Court, you may get a Copy of the Closure Report (as the same must have been filed in the Matter) from the Court. If you are not a Party, you would be required to liaison with Court Staff to find a way out.

Contact a lawyer, your issue will be resolved within days, it’s not that hard to get a certified copy of a closure report.
