Found an Insect in Hichkie Ghee got offered an INR300 of coupon.

About a month ago I got a bottle of their A2 Ghee from Amazon. After using it a while I took out a spoonful and found a nasty insect inside.

I took a Pic, and sent a mail to them and they asked for its batch number, fssai number etc, and then stopped replying.

I mailed them again and they said send us a video of proof opening the Ghee and finding insect, which I couldnt because Ghee did not have the insect at top and I did not have any video.

I asked them that I dont have any such video and I want my refund and they stopped replying.

After that I filed an NCH complaint which went fruitless as they asked me to file one with FSSAI, I complaint on FSSAI on 28th of last month and there have been no update till now.

Is there anything more I can do?

You need proof to validate your claim, accusation as such cannot be made without any physical evidence. You should have made a video right at same time you spotted the insect in the ghee, it could have helped u greatly. Also, amazon cannot do anything here as it’s not their fault, contact hichkie directly for your issue- hichkie.com/pages/contact

I contacted hichkie only, never got in touch with Amazon.

Also as I mentioned it happened after I used almost 25% of it.

Asking for a video seems like an obvious thing, cause they know a person does not make a video at such a time.

Ok you haven’t clearly mentioned. Try raising issue with Amazon,, raise issue with seller
