April 18, 2025 at 4:59 pmThere’s lot of posts in this sub like this but again I am gonna post same. I lended my friend 6k back in December but he’s not returning the money. I am asking each and every week from December but he’s just saying silly reasons and I am now fed up. I know 6k isn’t a big amount for everyone but for me that isn’t the case. Please don’t suggest to take it as a lesson and leave it. I took it as a lesson but I don’t want to leave as it is. I want my money back. Please provide actual solution for this -

April 18, 2025 at 5:09 pmWhat do you think is actual solution to make your friend to return the money do you think the police will arrest him for 6000 or a judge will punish him on first hearing. In no situation anyone make him legally bound to return the amount before you spending considerable time and money. You can try unethical ways but no legal way can help in recovering your loss but can make you lose more money-

April 18, 2025 at 5:11 pmI saw the same situation and the OP went to the parents of the friend who took the money and explained to them the entire issue.
You can do the same and add emotional factors that you need the money for family/medical emergencies etc. -

April 18, 2025 at 5:25 pmUnfortunately, you can’t do anything legally about it. I think you are looking for other ways, but this is not the sub for that. So, everyone here will tell you that take it as a lesson. 6k isn’t a big amount but it is for you, if you are looking to recover it through other means that might not go as you expect and you might have to face legal consequences then trust me you will find that forgetting 6k would have been preferable to losing twice that amount in a day. With money, do not trust anyone! -
