February 4, 2025 at 2:01 pmTotal value of Land is around Rs. 47,60,000
The donee is male so I was initially told by my Advocate that it is going to me cost around 7% of total value of land which comes out to be Rs. 333,300 + 100(pasting charge) but now he has just revised the Quotation by adding another 1% (Rs. 50,000) as E-receipt charges.I have extensively searched for these so called E-receipt charges but I can’t find an mention of them. Can someone assure me that I am not being duped.
Ps: I have already Given the advocate Rs. 80,000 (Rs. 25,000 fees + Rs. 50,000 for NOC)

February 4, 2025 at 2:24 pmYou need to understand that you need to pay stamp duty for for Gift Deed as well. So we assume the quotation given by the advocate is for stamp duty + registration charges + his fees. What is the NOC for and who is it giving to whom?

OP
February 4, 2025 at 2:37 pmThanks for replying !I appologise for not explaining the situation properly. Stamp Duty in Delhi is 6% + Registration fees is 1% + Pasting charges (Rs. 100 only) + I have already paid his fees(Rs. 30,000) + I have paid him another Rs. 50,000 for No Objection Certificate from the Revenue Department(bribe for the bloody Patwari and Tehsildar)
Now I was still Okay with all the expenses but suddenly my advocate has Revised the expenses by including this E-receipt charges which seems extremly fishy.Sir Do you know anything about such charges ?
